How do I get the mic from my 360 to work? The drivers for the controllers are installed but Im not really sure where to go from there... Ive never used any kind of chat program before.

you just plug it in, the drivers for the controller include it and there is a separate section of the internal board for it, basically teh controller is also a device hub and connecting the mic activates the mic portion of the controller.

from there you just configure it by selecting it as the device you use in your chat program.

Im trying to use it with Vent. Im not sure if it's because my computer thinks I just have front and rear mic plugs, but I cant seem to get the mic to work at all. Ive tried testing it in Vent and the normal windows sound setup thingy, but it doesnt seem to detect it.

tell vent to use direct sound then select xbox360 headset from the list

Downloaded the drivers that came when I pugged it in, but isnt working. Trying to get the Xinput driver from microsoft but the setup fails every time. Does anyone have the driver file by chance?
